Embroidery Fun
I just thought you might enjoy seeing how I store my thread, hoops, scissors and other supplies for my embroidery machine. I bought a Sears Craftsman tool cabinet with small drawers. I lined each drawer with a rubber mesh drawer liner. The drawer liner keeps my thread from rolling around when I open and close the drawers.
I have looked at many models of these cabinets. Because I use small spools of thread I do not need deep drawers, but there are many tool boxes and cabinets available with much deeper drawers. They have these tool cabinets available in a huge combination of doors, drawers and whatever you need. Many are rolling models and come on casters so you can move them around your room. There are even some big enough to store your machine in the bottom if you need to put it away. Of course, the price varies and depends on size and features. I purchased mine last summer for about $40 on sale, regular price is $65.
